​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​In 2013, a series of structural reforms were set in motion that were aimed at increasing social development and economic growth. One of these reforms is the Energy Reform, which has strengthened the sector and greatly aided the company in making it more efficient and competitive.

In this new environment, our company established new ethics policies, which adhere to the best domestic and international business practices, as we do not only comply with the provisions of the National Anti-Bribery System (Sistema Nacional Anticorrupción), but we also comply with other international regulations, such as the FCPA, the UK Bribery Act, and the Sarbanes Oxley Act. We achieved this progress thanks to the changes made to our corporate governance and company culture, which promote transparency, internal control, impartiality and responsibility in all company activities.

This site contains the complete legal framework developed as part of our Compliance Program, which includes our Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct that regulate the ethical behavior expected from our oil workers. You will also find the standards that regulate Due Diligence, our Anti-Bribery Policy, and the Guidelines of our Ethics Line.

On this page and as part of our transparency policies, you will also find information about the social development and environmental protection actions the company is currently engaged in. You can also find information on the activities of the Pemex Volunteers (Voluntariado de Pemex), as well as on other activities that contribute to sustainable development.

All this work would not be complete, however, unless we include the human factor as the key piece of our company’s activities. Therefore, this site also contains information about the campaigns for inclusion, equality and non-discrimination, the result of our commitment to promoting Human Rights.
